Dr. Alexander Fink and Dr. Sanja Damjanovic held a lecture

Afterwards Dr. Sanja Damjanović held a lecture on the topic “How the region can be competitive with the rest of Europe?” whereby she presented a regional project – International Scientific Institute in South East Europe. It is a hadron cancer therapy, research in the field of biomedicine, which would contribute to treatment of cancer. The Minister pointed out that this project is a unique opportunity for education of young scientists and a centre of excellence that will help the countries from the region to be competitive with the rest of Europe. An institute like this would provide the possibility of work for 1.000 researchers from all over the region.
