Erasmus coordinator of the internship program for Spanish students, visiting University “Mediterranean” Podgorica
Erasmus program coordinators and IES Ribeira do Louro professors from the city of Vigo (Spain), Lorena Abreu Lopez, Olga Gonzalez Martinez and Angeles Gonzalez Iglesias, during a two-day visit to the University “Mediterranean” (June 13 – 14) met with the head of IRO and FVU lecturer, MSc Nataša Kraljević and vice dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr Zaria Pejović, in order to evaluate and discuss the quality and performance of the three-month internship program for Spanish students, which was carried out at the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro. The meeting served to get to know each other, exchange experience and agree on strengthening cooperation for the next academic year. The coordinators also met with the representative of the education and quality department of the Chamber of Commerce, Vuk Jovanović, with whom they evaluated in more detail the participation of students in work tasks, as well as the overall impression that Spanish students left, when it comes to their internship. In order to research new potential partners for the aforementioned program, the professors, accompanied by Dr. Pejović, also visited the Montenegrin company 13. Jul – Plantaže, where they met with Assoc. Dr. Sanja Radonjić, director of the development sector, and discussed the cooperation planned for the next academic year. The internship program for students from Spain began this academic year, with the engagement of four students in a three-month program in two Montenegrin organizations/institutions. The evaluation process, which ended with this week’s visit by colleagues from Vigo, testified to the positive experience of all involved, as well as the need to expand and strengthen the program. University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, through the Office for International Cooperation, successfully brought the aforementioned program to an end and opened negotiations for the next academic year.
