Faculty of Visual Arts, “Mediterranean” University, Podgorica, part of the UNESCO project
On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the European House, the Dean of the Faculty of Visual Arts Marija Džoganović signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the NGO Cultural Center Homer at the opening conference of the project “Museum for all – the path to more accessible museums in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina” organized on the occasion of the announcement of joint activities on the project, whose partners, in addition to the Homer Cultural Center, are the Library for the Blind of Montenegro and the Life with Down Syndrome Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Sarajevo.
In addition to the ones listed, selected museums from Montenegro and BiH participate in the project (Natural History Museum of Montenegro, Local Museum of Pljevlja, Polimski Museum of Berane, National Museum of Montenegro and Museums and Galleries of Podgorica, History Museum of BiH in Sarajevo, Art Gallery of BiH in Sarajevo, Museum Herzegovina from Trebinje and the Museum of the City of Mostar), as well as one higher education institution, the Faculty of Visual Arts, University “Mediterranean” Podgorica.
The project “Museum for all – The road to more accessible museums in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina” will last 18 months, and it was supported by UNESCO within the joint project “CC4WBs – Culture and creativity for the Western Balkans”.
