Representatives of the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica participated in the workshops of the Council of Europe

Professors Vesna Ratković, Ph.D., Žana Knežević, Ph.D., Olena Lilova, Ph.D., Tamara Jovović, Ph.D., Assoc. Balša Gobović, MSc, and Tina Novaković, MSc, participate in workshops on researching the potential and challenges of ChatGPT and other AI tools in the field of academic integrity and other aspects of higher education, on May 29 and 30, 2024. The program is organized through the Council of Europe project “Quality Education for All” in partnership with the INL program of the American Embassy in Montenegro and with the support of the University of Montenegro.

The two-day program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of generative AI (GenAI), large-scale language models (LLM) and chatbots, explaining their technical aspects and functionalities. It will also serve to explore the practical applications of AI in teaching, research and learning and its application in strategies to maintain assessment security and research integrity.

The workshops are held in the Blue Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro, and are held by: prof. emeritus Dr. David Rettinger, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Tulsa (University of Tulsa), Dr. Tricia Bertram Gallant, Director of the Office of Academic Integrity at the University of California (University of California San Diego) and Amanda McKenzie, MA ) director of the Office of Academic Integrity of the University of Waterloo (University of Waterloo).
