Student of the Faculty of Information Technologies, Momir Savić, gave a presentation on digital twins and smart campuses at the Technical University of Sofia
Momir Savić, a third-year student at the Faculty of Information Technologies of the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, who is currently on a one-semester mobility at the Technical University of Sofia (TU Sofia) within the Erasmus+ program, 23. held a presentation on “Digital twins and smart campuses” in May. The presentation was held as part of the international Erasmus+ week, which brings together students and academic experts from different countries to exchange knowledge and experience.
In his presentation, Momir briefly introduced himself and his experience during mobility. He pointed out that the Erasmus+ mobility program enabled him to expand his academic horizons, acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as to build a network of professional contacts and international academic cooperation. After the introduction, Momir also presented the project he is working on at TU Sofia. The project deals with the development of digital twins and their application in the creation of smart campuses. Digital twins are virtual models of physical objects or systems, which enable monitoring, analysis and optimization of performance in real time. This technology has wide applications in various industries, and is especially useful in educational institutions to improve resource management and enhance the student experience. Momir highlighted the key benefits of using digital twins in the context of smart campuses, such as more efficient infrastructure management and campus energy efficiency.
Momir’s presentation was attended by: Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies of the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, prof. Dr. Maja Delibašić, Professor Velimir Strugar, as well as the head of the IT department of the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, Predrag Glomazić.
