THE PRESIDENT OF THE CAPITAL MARKET COMMISSION GAVE A LECTURE TO THE STUDENTS
Chairman of the Capital Market Commission, Željko Drinčić, M.Sc., gave a lecture to our students regarding topics of essential importance for understanding and improving the capital market in Montenegro.
The mission and vision of the Commission for the Capital Market, as well as the events that contributed the most to the development of the Montenegrin market, were the main topic of the lecture, which aimed to educate future experts in the aforementioned fields about the stages of the development of the market itself, but also about the future of the same in which actively participate themselves.
The entire structure of the domestic capital market was presented to the students in an interesting way, as well as certain phenomena, such as the Mass Voucher Privatization model from 1999, so that in their further training they would have adequate knowledge about events that had a strong impact on finance and the economy.
At the lecture, a review was made of the regulation that developed alongside the market, in order for future economists to gain awareness of the need for high-quality legal texts that serve to facilitate the resolution of everyday challenges faced by market participants. It is important to emphasize that the students are also familiar with the Commission’s participation in the daily drafting and adaptation of legislation in these areas to European standards.
