British Foundation “British Scholarship Trust” scholarships for postgraduate research

It is preferable that the candidates already have established contact with experts from one of the British universities which have accepted them. The period of the realization of these scholarships is from the October 2019. Until October 2020. The monthly allowance is 1000 Pounds for London, and 900 Pounds for all the other British cities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates need to be under 30 years old on the 1 st of October 2019. ;
  • Academic accomplishments;
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Importance of the topic for the candidate’s further work;
  • Required documents:
  • Certificate of Citizenship;
  • 2 copies of the application form, completed in English. The form can be obtained in this Ministry, or on the British Scholarship Trust’s website: www.britishscholarshiptrust.org;
  • A well presented topic of research and its importance for further work in the candidate’s occupation, on one page of an A4 format paper;
  • Certified copy of the applicant’s postgraduate/doctoral diploma;
  • Certificate of the English language ability (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.) of B2 level at least;
  • Detailed CV;
  • Two recommendations of university professors/experts from the areas that the applicant is proposing for their research (in a sealed envelope, in English);
  • If the candidate has established contact with some of the relevant British universities/institutions, a copy of the invitation letter with which the candidate proves that he/she has secured a position, i.e. a mentor in case his/hers scholarship gets approved;

If the candidate has not established contact, they should look for the option “useful links” on the “British Scholarship Trust” website, where they can find contact addresses of the desired British universities/institutions. Aforementioned documents need to be mailed, or submitted in person, to the Ministry of Education, office 3, Vaka Djurovica St., 81000, Podgorica, by Monday, March 11 th , 2019.

Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. Dossiers of 5 to 6 best applicants will be forwarded to the Foundation, which will make the final decision on the scholarships sometime in May of 2019.
