Scholarships of the PR China for Academic year 2018/2019
These scholarships do not cover travel expenses.
All candidates must pass through the electronic registration of the China Scholarship Advisory.
To compete for these scholarships, candidates should:
Prove that they are citizens of some other country, not of the PR China, as well as of good health;
Be graduated under the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate studies;
Have a diploma of completed undergraduate studies, under the age of 35, if they apply for master programs;
Have a master’s degree, under the age of 40, if they apply for doctoral programs;
Be younger than 45 years and have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies if they apply for general academic programs;
Have a master’s degree, or of a superordinate professor (or more) if they apply for more academic programs.
Necessary documentation:
Application Form for the Government Grant Scholarship (in Chinese or English). The form is available at http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or www.campuschina.org;
Diploma of the highest degree, certified by a notary (photocopy). Candidates who are expected to receive a diploma must submit official evidence of their school status. With the documentation, which is not in Chinese or English, the translation must be enclosed in Chinese, or English, with a notarized copy;
Recognition: In addition to transcripts, which are not in Chinese or English, they must be accompanied by a notarial translation in Chinese or English;
Plan of study or research in Chinese or English (of at least 200 words for undergraduate studies, up to 500 words for research and up to 800 words for postgraduate studies);
Recommendation Letters: candidates for apprenticeship or research work must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English, by professors or extraordinary professors;
The candidates for the studies in the field of music are expected to submit a CD with their works. Applicants for the field of fine art must submit a CD with their works, which include two drawings, two color pictures and some other two works;
Candidates under the age of 18 should submit valid documentation of their custodians in China;
Candidates planning to stay in China for more than 6 months should submit a medical certificate in English for foreigners (original should keep the candidate).
The form provided by Chinese authorities for this purpose can be downloaded from the Internet address: http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina. Surveys should include all items from the form for the medical examiner’s views. Incomplete results or those without the signature of the appropriate doctor, official seal of the hospital, or candidates for the photo with the seal are invalid. Please make medical examinations on time, as their validity is only 6 months;
Applicants who have received a pre-admission letter from the appropriate university should submit a letter with the application;
Applicants with a valid medical certificate must accompany them with the application documentation.
