The first meeting of the working team of the research bilateral project Slovenia – Montenegro was held in Ljubljana
The vice-rector for teaching at the “Mediterranean” University Podgorica and professor at the Faculty of Tourism, Darko Lacmanović, Ph.D., doctoral student and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Visual Arts, Nataša Kraljević, M.Sc., and master’s student Aleksandra Govedarica participated in a two-day working meeting in Ljubljana (12-14 June) with partners in the project, representatives of the Faculty of Applied Social Studies in Nova Gorica, prof. Dr. Andrej Raspor and prof. Dr. Predrag Ljubotin.
The meeting involved finalizing the methodology of the research project, as well as defining the time frame of future activities.
The bilateral project “Perspectives of creative industries in rural tourism destinations in the post-COVID period (Case study: Slovenia, Montenegro)” was created by the partnership of the Faculty of Tourism of the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica and the Faculty of Applied Social Studies in Nova Gorica and was approved as one of the thirty joint (research) projects financed by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Montenegro and the competent Ministry of Slovenia.
The two-year project involves joint research and a series of mutual bilateral visits by the Montenegrin and Slovenian teams, as well as a longer stay in Slovenia for one of the Montenegrin researchers for a duration of 30 days.
The next meeting of the working team of the project is planned for September this year and will be organized in Podgorica.
