PARTICIPATION OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MEDITERRANEAN UNIVERSITY AT THE 10th INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON UI GREENMETRIC WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS, BOGOTA, COLOMBIA

Rector of the Mediterranean University, prof. dr. Savo Marković, had the honor of participating in a prestigious event dealing with issues of sustainability and green universities. On behalf of the University Mediterranean Podgorica, prof. dr. Marković signed the Agreement within the UI GreenMetric network, which brings together green university communities around the world.

Also, within the poster session, prof. dr. Marković presented his work on the topic “Place and Role of Environmental Legislation Today”, where he emphasized the importance of legal regulations in environmental protection and promoted the best practices in this area.

Prof. dr. Marija Janković, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at the University Mediterranean Podgorica, was the moderator of the session “The Way Forward in Managing Waste”. During the session “The Way Forward in Managing Education and Research”, prof. dr. Janković gave a presentation on “Examining Consumer Attitudes and Values ​​Toward Environmentally Friendly Products: The Significance of Environmental Awareness for Today’s Consumers”, where she analyzed consumer attitudes towards environmentally friendly products and the importance of environmental awareness in modern society.

The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is a ranking of green universities and environmental sustainability launched by the University of Indonesia in 2010.
