Rector of “Mediterranean” University Podgorica at the 2023 NUSCT – rector’s meeting in Vaduz, Liechtenstein
Prof. Dr. Savo Marković, rector of the “Mediterranean” University Podgorica and prof. Marija Džoganović, dean of the Faculty of Visual Arts is currently staying in Liechtenstein to participate in the fifth rectors’ meeting of the Association of Universities of Small Countries and Territories NUSCT (Network of Universities of Small Countries and Territories), which will be held on May 9 and 10, 2023 in Vaduz ( Liechtenstein).
The meeting, which brought together university rectors from eleven countries, served to exchange opinions on the topic of the position and participation of students, artificial intelligence, academic integrity, but also for discussions on the topic of cooperation and future development plans. Rector Marković and Professor Džoganović used this meeting to introduce colleagues from other countries to the activities carried out at “Mediterranean” University, focusing especially on social responsibility and this year’s work of the Ethics Committee and the Quality Assessment Committee of our university.
The NUSCT association was founded in 2018 on the initiative of representatives of the Universities of Malta, Greenland, Gibraltar, San Marino and Andorra from the common need to solve problems specific to higher education institutions operating in the socio-political and economic context of small countries and territories. Two members from Montenegro participate in the association: “Mediterranean” University Podgorica from 2021 and University of Montenegro from 2019.
