Representatives of University “Mediterran” Podgorica attended the Chinese New Year celebration
At the invitation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Montenegro, representative of University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, prof. dr Silvana Đurašević, assistant professor Tamara Jovović, prof. dr. Olena Lilova, prof. Marija Džoganović, M.Sc. and Nataša Kraljević, M.Sc., attended the celebration on the eve of the Chinese New Year, held in the hall of the shopping center “Big Fashion” in Podgorica on Friday, January 26.
The celebration included a cultural and artistic program, a gastronomic offer, as well as gifts for those present, both for adults and for children.
The Chinese New Year 2024 officially begins on February 10, will be in the zodiac sign of the Dragon and will last until January 28, 2025. The dragon is one of the most important symbols in Chinese astrology and represents energy, strength and power. This year is dedicated to the Wood Dragon, which nevertheless gives the possibility of flexibility and is characterized by the ability to adapt to different circumstances.
Representatives of the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica were received and greeted by the Ambassador of the Republic of China in Podgorica, H.E. Mr. Fan Kun.
