Participation of “Mediterranean” University Podgorica in the Summer International Week, Campus Ponferrada, University of Leon, Spain
Representatives of “Mediterranean” University Podgorica, prof. Vesna Ratković, Ph.D., Faculty of Law, Sonja Bojić, M.Sc., and lecturer Milena Dragutinović, Faculty of Foreign Languages, are on a study visit to the University of Leon, Spain, from July 10 to 14, as part of an international week that brings together representatives of universities from Europe, Africa and Asia.
In his welcoming address, the vice-chancellor for international cooperation at the University of Leon, Roberto Baelo Álvarez, wished the participants a successful stay in the hope that it will result in fruitful cooperation in related fields.
Participating in a series of lectures, workshops and discussions thematically dedicated to the presentation of the University itself, as well as the implementation of internationalization strategies, the professors of our university had the opportunity to exchange positive experiences and practices with the other participants, as well as with the University – the host, and get to know the way of work of this institution and its long tradition, which includes over 40 study programs in various fields, master’s and doctoral programs.
The participation of our academic staff in this year’s summer international week in Ponferada is the last visit in this academic year, organized within the Erasmus+ credit mobility program. In the 2022-23 academic year, “Mediterranean” University Podgorica organized over thirty credit mobilities, which include over fifty members of the “Mediterranean” University community, including students, academic and administrative staff.
