Representatives of the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica participated in the International Week in Valencia
IES Abastos in Valencia organized the International Week for representatives of European and Western Balkan universities in the period from 20 – 24. 05, as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program. The goal of this year’s meeting was to evaluate the results of the joint programs so far, as well as to determine the basis for creating new and innovative ways of partner cooperation, as well as gathering around challenging topics of today, such as education and civil society.
Representatives of University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, prof. Silvana Đurašević, Ph.D., dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Dragica Anđelić, M.Sc., expert in quality assessment, as well as representatives of the Student Service, Milica Šarić and Anđela Petrović, presented the work of our university and actively participated in the strategic creation of new cooperation programs. Focusing on strengthening the student exchange program, prof. Đurašević, Ph.D., and Anđelić, M.Sc., introduced European and regional partners to the internship program for students from Spain developed by our university, as well as other innovative projects that are being implemented in Podgorica.
The topics of this year’s International Week in Valencia, in addition to strengthening the student mobility program, were also the creation of quality ways for professional training of students, the development of specialized master’s programs and practical teaching programs. In addition to our representatives, a representative of the University of Montenegro also participated in the program in Valencia.
The cooperation between “Mediterranean” University Podgorica and IES Abastos continues, with the visit of representatives of this Spanish institution of higher education to our university on June 17, this year.
