A representative of University “Mediterranean” Podgorica participated in a three-day training at the Polytechnic Institute in Portugal
As part of the project “Digital Transformation in the Western Balkans Education” Digitcreshe, a three-day teacher training was held at the Polytechnic Institute in Porto called “Serious games, games-based learning and gamification in education”. based on games and gamification in education”. The training of the teaching staff of the countries of the Western Balkans was held from May 8 to 10, and University “Mediterranean” Podgorica was represented by dr. Tamara Jovović, PhD.
The training served to familiarize teachers with the theoretical concepts of gamification, but also with the practical use of games in the educational process. Teachers learned how to use existing games, develop new ones and implement gamification strategies in learning.
The Digitcreshe project is one of the six Erasmus CBHE projects in which the “Mediterranean” University Podgorica participates from January 2023. The leader of the project is the host of the training, the Polytechnic Institute of the University of Porto from Portugal, and the other partners in the project are universities from Greece, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania and Germany. In addition to the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Montenegro is also participating in the project.
