A colleague from the Technical University in Sofia visited

On Tuesday, March 3, University “Mediterranean” Podgorica hosted colleagues from the Technical University in Sofia: Assoc. prof. Dr. Galija Marinova, MSc Kapko Georgieva Stojanov and MSc Ani Penčeva Krasteva, who are staying in Podgorica in the period from March 2 to 6, 2026, as part of the Erasmus mobility program.

During the visit, the guests from Sofia met with the dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies, prof. Dr. Majom Delibašić, where the final steps towards the finalization of the joint project were defined. Namely, “Mediterranean” University Podgorica, through the Faculty of Information Technologies, participated in the three-year Erasmus CBHE project IOT-ECO IoT “Green transformation for the academic community and business-oriented ecosystem in the Western Balkans”, which was supported by the Technical University in Sofia. The project was successfully completed and resulted in numerous activities, mutual visits and significant expert meetings https://iot-eco.eu/

Colleagues also met with representatives of the Service for International Cooperation, with whom mobility plans were agreed upon until the end of the current academic year.

The long-standing and successful cooperation with the Technical University in Sofia represents another strong inter-institutional and international connection, which confirms the commitment and quality in the implementation of the Internationalization Strategy of the “Mediterranean” University Podgorica.
