Economist and philosopher Vladimir Đukanović will give a lecture to students of the Faculty of Economics and Business and the University of the Mediterranean on the topic “Artificial intelligence – economic and social aspect” on May 9 at 12 noon (room 102).

Economist and philosopher Vladimir Đukanović, a man who has been involved in calculations and analytics for years, in the arena of the world’s most important bankers and analysts, recently published the SF novel “Blistanje” whose theme is the real danger that the unpredictable development of artificial intelligence brings with it.

Djukanovic was a partner in Cirsio Capital LLC, a $250 million investment firm based in London. Before that, Đukanović, who is known to the local public as a “philosopher from Wall Street”, was the chief trader for John Levin & Co. Europe, a New York investment fund with more than 11 billion dollars under management.

He started his career as an analyst at the largest brokerage house JP Morgan Asset Management in New York, where he spent nine years. Vladimir is currently advising numerous companies in the Balkan region whose goal is to reach global markets. He is also an active private investor.
