Strenghtening the Innovation Ecosystem
Representatives of the Faculty of Information Technologies and the Faculty of Tourism “Montenegro Tourism School” participated in the MTSB EU vol.2 Demo Day, organized by Digital Den, as part of the HMI2MARKET project.
As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen innovation, technological entrepreneurship, and collaboration within the HMI2MARKET project, a cooperation agreement has been established with the renowned startup venture studio Digital Den. This partnership creates new opportunities for knowledge sharing, mentorship, and improved access to international markets.
The event was held on 9 July 2026 at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro in Podgorica, bringing together promising startups, representatives of public institutions, financial organizations, investors, international partners, and other important actors of the innovation ecosystem.
The Demo Day provided an opportunity to showcase innovative solutions and identify the most successful startups that will advance to the next stage of the program, to be held in the Netherlands. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in FinTech, Artificial Intelligence (AI), RegTech, ESG, and HealthTech, highlighting technologies that support digital transformation and enhance market competitiveness.
Participation in this event enabled our representatives to gain valuable insights into contemporary technological trends, startup development practices, and innovation management. At the same time, it provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and establish new professional connections, contributing to the achievement of the HMI2MARKET project objectives.
The knowledge and experience gained through this cooperation will further strengthen the capacities of both faculties in technology transfer and the commercialization of innovative solutions, while the partnership with Digital Den represents an important step towards building a stronger and more connected innovation ecosystem.
