Professor University “Mediteran” Podgorica Dr. Silvana Đurašević participated in the ITSA – regional Asian conference, at the Amity University in India

Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica, prof. Dr. Silvana Đurašević participated, in the capacity of session chairperson, at the ITSA regional Asian conference, held at the Amity University of Tourism and Hospitality, in the city of Noida, India, in the period from February 7 to 9, 2025 https://www.amity.edu/itsaamity2025/default.aspx .

This year’s theme of the conference “Bridging the gaps in knowledge and practice in tourism: sustainable development, regenerative tourism, digital ecosystems and green investments” served to stimulate the discussion of professionals in the field of tourism, as well as interaction and cooperation between representatives of developing countries and representatives of economically developed countries.

The conference was organized at Amity University, in the city of Noida thirty kilometers from New Delhi, on whose campus live approximately 40,000 students attending over 100 study programs. Also, the place of the 3rd best ranked university in the world belongs to Amity University,

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of India, as well as representatives of almost all countries of the world. Montenegro was represented at the aforementioned meeting by a professor from our university, Dr. Đurašević.
